Does your search subject involve, require or contain ingredients?
(Examples - ingredients for food products, or cleaners, or paints, or fertilizers, etc.)

If your search subject is in the pharmaceutical or microbiological fields, call 312.419.8055 or otherwise contact the firm for a cost estimate.

Otherwise:

2a.1    If your search subject is a combination of those ingredients, select the S-2 search.

2a.2    If your search subject is a device that uses an ingredient or a combination of ingredients, select the S-3 search.

2a.3    If your search subject is a method that uses an ingredient or a combination of ingredients, select the S-2 search.

If your search subject is not in any of the above categories, please request assistance in selecting the search field on-line.  You must be able to either define the search subject generically or provide a comparable item.

Generic example - the generic for a new golf club design would be "golf club" and a category description of "for sports" would not be adequate.

Comparable example - a new device for cooking might be comparable to a toaster or a frying pan but probably not equally comparable to both.
